Duty Tracking System (DTS), owned by SYSTEMWORKS, LLC, is an American-made, cloud-based application. Our company is headquartered in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and serves customers nationwide. The product line includes Police DTS, Fire DTS, and Workforce DTS.

Duty Tracking System is a uniquely innovative platform that incorporates a one-of-a-kind Embedded Proprietary Automated Algorithm, also known as the Internal Engine. This proprietary technology saves departments countless hours that would otherwise be spent manually disbursing details, overtime, and attendance assignments. Supervisors no longer need to individually contact employees—DTS’s Internal Engine automatically awards assignments based on employee eligibility hours, list position, and seniority.

In addition, DTS is the only software in the industry with a Statewide Mutual Aid Hub that interconnects departments for assignment and assignment-logistics coordination. Leveraging our large footprint of 300+ departments, the hub enables seamless sharing of eligible personnel across jurisdictions, enhancing operational efficiency and resource deployment during high-demand or emergency situations.

The Internal Engine is pre-configured to meet each department’s union CBA and departmental policies. Operating continuously in the background, it executes a “heartbeat” every 60 seconds, applying artificial intelligence to handle these complex, labor-intensive processes.
