Dear Detail Vendor,
The Carver Police Department detail rate is seventy-five dollars ($75.00) per hour. Officers shall receive the minimum four (4) hours payment for any detail cancelled with less than four (4) hours’ notice, provided that the vendor has been notified in advance of this requirement.
A minimum of four (4) hours pay shall be required on all private details. Officers who work a detail extending longer than four (4) hours shall receive eight (8) hours of detail pay and details over eight (8) hours shall be paid in two (2) hour increments thereafter at the rate of time and one-half (1 ½) the detail rate. Details requested less than 24 hours in advance shall be paid at a minimum of 8 hours. A one-dollar ($1.00) increase for details shall apply under the following circumstances:
A. establishments, which serve alcohol
B. for officer in charge of detail with three (3) or more officers.
Officers shall be paid one and one-half (1 ½) times the detail rate for details performed between 4 pm and 7 am, Monday through Friday.
All road work shall be paid at one and one half (1 ½) times the detail rate beginning Friday evening at 4 pm until Monday morning at 7 am.
There is also a 10% administrative fee on all detail bills.
Any invoice not paid within 30 days will be subject to finance charges of 14% per annum.
